Transcription: Semicolon is used incorrectly. Semicolon is joined complete thoughts. Ralph and Belle is not a complete thought, just a couple of nouns. I chose the following people is a complete thought, but both to the right and the left of the semicolon, both of the thoughts have to be complete thoughts. A comma would be okay here. A colon would work fine. Semicolon is definitely misused.
